Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra denied on Tuesday a report that he left his long-time church in Santo Domingo because his wife was jealous of the female pastor.

Pastor Lucy Cosme, who heads the evangelical Villa Bendicion ministry, said Guerra’s wife, Nora, accused her of being in love with her husband and pressing him to donate money to the church.
