In the most recent Venezuelan edition of the magazine, “TVyNovelas”, Alicia Machado discusses her past encounters with the now deceased, John F. Kennedy Jr. 

In the http://entretenimiento.aollatino.com/2012/02/20/alicia-machado-john-f-kennedy-jr/” title=“magazine interview”]magazine interview[/url], the soap opera star divulges how she met and connected with the son of the former President of the United States.  According to Machado, the two met at a dinner in New York and had the pleasure of meeting at several other events.  She describes him as a nice, gorgeous man that would always let her tell him stories in Spanish.  This, she believes could be because he didn’t understand what she said in English.  “I can’t call my friendship with him a sentimental one.  Yes, he flirted with me but we only saw each other a few times.  I thought that he liked me because we used to laugh a lot together,” explains Machado.

The former Miss Universe (1996) is well known in her home country for her role in the telenovela ‘Samantha’ and ‘Infierno en el Paraiso’.  Another claim to fame for Ms. Machado is that she is the only Miss Universe to have posed nude for Playboy.
