Chicago Police are reporting a yet to be identified Brighton Park man, who was shot at the 2600 block of West Montgomery Ave on Saturday morning died later at Mount Sinai hospital.

According to police reports the individual was in the alley of West Montgomery when he was shot at approximately 8:00 a.m.  Despite shot wounds to the face and chest he was able to run a block to flee his assailants.  He collapsed at the corner of 41st and South Rockwell. 

Police do not have any suspects in custody nor do they have a description of the vehicle seen fleeing the scene of the crime.
