Ministerial Police are investigating the death of an American missionary couple that were found murdered last night in their home in San Francisco community in Santiago. The victims were identified as John and his wife Wanda Casias, 76 and 67 years respectively.

In the early investigations, authorities believe the apparent motive for the double murder was robbery, as various objects are missing in the house of the couple such as a couple of computers, a television, a safe and Suburban.

The couple lived in Santiago since 1983 and since then engaged in missionary work for the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church, located on the border.
