Our favorite red-haired comedian Louis C.K. has reportedly begun work on a new sitcom for CBS about 20-somethings trying to survive in today’s economy.

C.K. will be working with former Seinfeld and Simpsons writer Spike Feresten on the half-hour, multi-camera comedy.

The pilot is currently untitled, but the pair may finally strike gold with this one as C.K. has seen great success over the last few years.

Feresten is responsible for one of American television’s most notable characters, known as the “Soup Nazi,” who is still quoted years later. (No soup for you!) Last month, he sold a single-camera comedy to the Fox network.

C.K. and Feresten previously worked together on Saturday Night Live, em>Late Show With David Letterman</em>, and the Dana Carvey Show.

Louis C.K.’s FX comedy Louie has encountered great success since premiering in 2010.

Watch C.K. appearance on Conan where he talks about being a “little Mexican boy.”
