Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will welcome 45 Brazilian Youth Ambassadors to the U.S. Department of State on Wednesday, January 25, at 10:00 a.m.

The Youth Ambassadors Program, created in Brazil in 2002, is a three-week exchange program that focuses on civic education, leadership, and community service for youth, ages 15-18. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the program, which has expanded to 25 countries across the Americas.

The program is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in coordination with the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs.
