What are the favorites drinks of choice when America goes cocktailing: it’s the margarita for mixed drink lovers and the Corona for beer lovers.

According to the annual survey of bar managers the most ordered alcoholic drink is the margarita, with the martini coming in second and rum and cokes coming in third.  The Cosmo meanwhile entered into the top 5 list.

For beer lovers Corona was the best selling imported beer and Sam Adams the most popular craft beer

The survey was prepared by The Beverage Information Group that publishes the ‘Cheers On-Premise BARometer’ handbook.  The handbook is used by the beverage and hospitality industry to gauge what customers want to drink and how to market to them.
