A Male White or White Hispanic offender attempted to lure a child into his vehicle on July 15, 2011 at approximately 1:00 P.M in the 5600 block of S. Monitor Av.. The offender curbed his vehicle and engaged the juvenile victim in conversation while showing him a dog. He then told the victim “to get into the car”. An alert neighbor observed the incident and called out to the victim, causing the offender to leave the vicinity.

• Male White or White Hispanic
• 40-49 years of age
• Dark hair
• Wearing glasses
Vehicle:
• Mid size, 4-door
• Older vehicle
• Dark blue in color
• Tinted windows
