A young man was shot in Chicago’s Brighton Park early Friday morning, police say.
The 21-year-old unidentified man was traveling in his car on the 3800 block of South Rockwell Street when a group of men opened fire at about 12:20 a.m.
The Chicago Police Department said the driver received a gunshot wound to his side and was taken to Mount Sinai hospital in serious condition.
No one has been arrested in case and no description of the shooters are released. A motive was not identified, but Wentworth are detectives are still investigating.
