After a customer posted clear video of a FedEx delivery person carelessly throwing the customer’s package over a fence and simply leaving, the video went viral.
YouTube user goobie55 posted the video titled “Fed Ex guy throwing my computer monitor” on Tuesday. The 21-second video shows what appears to be a Latino delivery person carrying a package to the customer’s fence, not ringing a bell or attempting to contact anyone in the home, then tossing the boxed monitor over the black-painted steel fence.
In the video description, the poster wrote, “The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken.”
Though some have claimed that video is fake, a spokesperson for FedEx made a statement saying the video was confirmed as real, and said that by using their tracking system, the delivery company was able to identify the route and driver.
