Police are reporting that last night in separate shooting incidents 4 people were killed while another 13 were wounded.

The Back of the Yards murder victim has been identified as 28 year old Beto Rodriguez.  He was shot Sunday morning at approximately 3:00 a.m. at the 4900 block of South Wolcott.  He was pronounced dead at the Stein Institute.

The night before a Humboldt Park man, described as in his 30’s, was shot and wounded in his right shoulder.  The incident happened at the 3700 block of West Grand Avenue.  The shooting victim was taken to John H. Stroger hospital.
