The assailants of the brutal March 31st beating of a San Francisco Giants fan, Bryan Stow, outside Dodger Stadium have been identified and charged.
Louie Sanchez, 29 and his accomplice Marvin Norwood, 30 have been charged by Los Angeles police of nearly beating to death Stow at the opening day game between Giants vs Dodgers. Norwood apparently is dating Sanchez’ sister, Dorene Sanchez. She was arrested as an accomplice since she drove the two men away from the scene of the crime.
The men were arrested Thursday for the severe beating of Stow that included “did cut and disable the tongue, and put out an eye and slit (Stow’s) nose, ear and lip.”
The beating caused Stow to suffer severe skull fracture and he remains hospitalized in seriuous condition. The police allege that both men punched the victim in the back of the head , kicked and beat him as fans were leaving the game.
Sanchez has also been charged with misdemeanor battery for assaulting two other unidentified Giants fans the same night. Both Sanchez and Norwood have prior convictions of spousal abuse. Another suspect Giovanni Ramirez who was identified early in the investigation has now been exonerated.
