A young bodybuilder remains in custody after he reportedly attacked a couple in their yard Saturday night.
A husband and wife are recovering from an unprovoked attack by 300-lb bodybuilder Ruben Azru, 22, which landed them in the hospital with head and various other wounds.
The couple told police that when they arrived home Saturday, Azru, whom they do not know, was standing naked in their yard. He then attacked the husband, Leo Rubio, 36, causing major head trauma. The 34-year-old wife then ran inside to call 911, and when she went back outside to check on her husband, Azru went after her. The woman sustained facial injuries as well as a number of lacerations to her head caused by being thrown around by Azru.
A neighbor came out of her own home to help the injured couple, but ran back inside after the bodybuilder came after her.
