A man suspected of being a hitman and part of mass kidnappings and murders of migrants has been detained, Mexico’s defense department said.

Abraham Barrios Caporal, 26, was captured in the Mexico state of Veracruz and admitted to working for Los Zetas, one of the country’s most powerful and deadly cartels.
