More than a few eyebrows were raised when it was realized that one of the sponsors of the Miss America pageant is not only a gay porn star, but also the owner of three adult websites.
Though Ric Alonso was once the owner of a multi-faith website known as PrayerOnTheWeb.com, the site is no longer in existence, and Alonso has since turned his attention towards a few very different websites.
Alonso is listed as the owner of three hardcore websites geared towards gay men, one of which he is the star on under the name Jake Cruise.
JakeCruise.com, Cocksuremen.com, and StraightGuysForGayEyes.com are all Alonso’s sites, so it caused a media frenzy since he is also a sponsor of the Miss America pageant, and he along with longtime partner Ernie Koneck is involved with the Southern California Scholarship Association – a non-profit organization that produces the Miss Hollywood pageant. The pageant being an official preliminary to the Miss California and Miss America pageants.
On one of his sites, the New York Daily Times reported Alonso (as Jack Cruise) wrote, “As you can see, I’m your average middle aged gay man who likes to have fun with hot guys of all ages… One thing I strive for is that we all have fun while having sex.”
On the same site, Alonso, who is openly gay, is reportedly seen engaging in various sexual acts with other men.
