No one likes when their weekend plans fall through, but for one Chicago Latina, it was especially hard to handle.
Olivia Christina Ornelas was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence after she crashed her car into a ditch off Rt. 71.
When police found the car, the front right tire was missing and police say she attempted to drive the vehicle with the tire missing. They also discovered that 18-year-old Ornelas was “extremely intoxicated”.
She told officers that she was upset because her boyfriend told her they would go see Breaking Dawn, the latest movie in the Twilight series, but then canceled.
According to the Kendall County police report, “Ornelas advised that she was extremely upset with her boyfriend because she did not see the movie Twilight like they were supposed to.”
