Last week, a group of Florida shopper began their preparations Black Friday, some of them even setting up tents outside a local Best Buy store.

With more than a week to go, Christine Orta joined a number of other people looking to grab the best deals when the St. Petersburg Best Buy opens it’s door the midnight after Thanksgiving, thus beginning the Black Friday rush.

Orta told a local NBCaffiliate that camping outside the store is “not the oddest thing I’ve done, but it’s pretty crazy. It’s different.”

Store manager Jade Esparza told reporters, “It’s great. We think it’s fantastic, and we welcome everyone to come out.”

As for what Orta is hoping to nab, she said she’s hoping to get a 42” or 55” flat-screen television.
