More than 50 topics will be presented in the following tracks: grants and funding opportunities; partnerships that work; advocacy and legislation; international partnerships; and executive leadership for successful institutional strengthening.

HACU will also present a Town Hall on Monday, Oct. 31, 3:30 – 5 p.m. Town Hall panelists will address the future of higher education in a discussion surrounding “Re-Engineering Higher Education.” The Town Hall is free and open to the public. It will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in Room 007 BCD – River Level.

HACU will also host its College and Career Fair on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 2 – 5 p.m. Members of the community, middle and high school students and their parents are invited to visit the Conference Exhibit Hall and interact with the more than 100 exhibitors that represent federal agencies, major corporations, and colleges and universities from across the nation.

An estimated 1,500 conference participants from colleges, universities nationwide and internationally, as well as representatives of school districts, corporations and federal agencies, are expected to attend HACU’s 25th Annual Conference.
