GiveForward gives people personal fund raising pages to raise money for loved one’s medical expenses.  The organization has helped thousands of people raise millions of dollars for things like chemotherapy, organ transplants, travel, and living expenses while undergoing treatment.  And there are numerous Latinos with fund raising pages that are being helped like 13-year old Alejandra Alvarez who was visiting from Mexico when she suffered acute respiratory distress or Margie Matos who is hoping to fund raise for a critical kidney transplant.

Earlier in the month eight-year-old cancer patient, Bella Rodriguez-Torres received an anonymous donation of $25,000 on her GiveForward page.  That money will be used to help cover medical expenses from the young girl’s third battle with cancer, this time, Bella needs a tumor grafting.

Shannah, Bella’s mom says “I was a mom on a mission.  My baby was fighting cancer for the third time and I had to do whatever it took to her get help.”  Shannah started a GiveForward fund raising page that allowed friends and family to come together and donate. Within just seven days they raised $50,000 for Bella’s treatment.
