Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is looking to become the next best-selling author, as the Miami Herald is reporting that he is currently in the process of writing his autobiography.
Tea Party wonderboy is said to be working on the book that will chronicle last year’s Senate victory and perhaps even his parents’ immigrant journey to America and his upbringing.
Rubio is quoted as saying, “I think we have something to say.” Adding, “I’d like to tell a little bit about my upbringing, and how my upbringing has led me to some of the policy conclusions I’ve reached, and I’d like to tell about the campaign, my time in the Legislature.”
At just 40 years old, many have Rubio pegged as either a vice presidential candidate for the upcoming election or a presidential candidate for the 2016 election.
Sen. Rubio is said to have the political autobiography guru Robert Barnett on his side. Barnett is a lawyer with the heavy-hitting Washington law firm Williams & Connolly.
