After filing for divorce last year, actress Stacey Dash was finally granted a divorce from Emmanuel Xuereb, to whom she was married for more than two years.
Dash, whose family is of Mexican (Aztec Indian) and African decent, said Xuereb hit her in the face, head, and body during the marriage, but she was afraid to go to the police.
Court reports obtained by TMZshow the 45-year-old claimed that a drunken Xuereb once pinned her down and told her that it was going to be the worst night of her life.
The same day the actress, known for her role as Alicia Silverstone’s best friend Dione in the hit movie Clueless, filed for divorce, she also filed for a restraining order against Xuereb.
The couple have no children together, though Dash has two from a previous relationship.
This is Dash’s third divorce.
