A 16-year-old boy was wounded in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood Wednesday night.
The teenager was waking home on the 1700 block of West 17th Street when multiple shots were fired, police said.
He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in “stable” condition.
Initial reports said the boy was shot on the left side of his abdomen.
No one is currently in custody and Harrison Area detectives are still investigating the incident.
