We know, we know you probably would of sold it or the very least ask for life-time season tickets to the Yankees if you would of caught Derek Jeter’s 3,000th base hit ball.  Yes the very hit that makes him the only Yankee player to reach that milestone.

The very hit that puts Jeter in the rare pantheon of only 28 MLB players to have or surpass 3,000 career base hits.  But the ultimate fan Christian Lopez, 23-years old said Deter deserved it more than him and handed the ball over. 

The good deed did get him a photo op meeting with Jeter, a visit to the Steinbrenner family luxury box, four front-row season tickets for the rest of the season, bats, balls and jerseys signed by Jeter. WOW.
