Eva Longoria and Howard G. Buffett, son of billionaire Warren Buffett, are currently in Latin America on a charity mission.
In 2008, the World Food Programme, with help from Howard’s foundation, began assisting farmers in a number of Latin America countries with growing and developing their farming businesses.
This week, Longoria joined Buffett in Guatemala to witness and discuss agriculture with local farmers.
After arriving, Longoria took to Twitter and WhoSay to share photos from the trip.
Howard G. Buffett, who grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, farms 400 acres in the state. He currently resides in Decatur, Illinois and operates a 1,240-acre family family in Pana as well, and is an advocate of no-till conservation agriculture. No-till is an agricultural technique which increases the amount of water and organic matter (nutrients) in the soil and decreases erosion.
