Phoenix FBI office announced the arrest of Customs and Border Protection Officer Lauro Tobias, 59, on March 14, 2013 on charges of money laundering.

The federal complaint charges that Tobias on August 31, 2012,  transported a bag containing a large amount of U.S. currency, which is believed to be the proceeds from a narcotics sale, from Las Vegas, Nevada to Phoenix, Arizona.

Other details of the case were not immediately known.
