The College Board, a nonprofit leader in education in collaboration with CollegeWeekLive , a leading provider of virtual events for admission to college, launched Destino University , a series of five free forums on the Internet, designed to help Hispanic students and their families pay, prepare and successfully complete college. The program will be presented in English and Spanish.
These online bilingual events will take place on Tuesday, February 26, Thursday March 14, Tuesday April 16, Thursday, May 2 and Wednesday June 12 and will provide access to guidance on the admissions process to college through presentations video and live chat.
They will discuss issues related to higher education, and particularly important for Hispanic families who may not have experience in the application process to college or who may not be knowledgeable about the financing options.
