A man was taken to a California hospital in critical condition after his inebriated fiancé ran him over.

On Thursday, a naked 30-year-old Alberto Giovanni Bravo was run over by his fiancé, and also naked, unnamed 22-year-old woman. According to police, the naked man got out of a 2008 Honda Civic and walked in front of it. Bravo’s reportedly drunk fiancé, who had moved over and gotten behind the wheel, suddenly began moving forward. Bravo landed on the hood of the vehicle.

The woman then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence and two trees. As she crashed, Bravo flew off the car’s hood.

When officers with the California Highway Patrol arrived, Bravo was airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition.

The unnamed woman was arrested for on DUI charges. It is not clear why the pair were driving around naked or his Bravo was also intoxicated.
