As Facebook continues its worldwide growth, people are able to communicate with others in numerous countries, but sometimes language difference create barriers when friends post to each other in another language. In response to the frustration of its users, the people at Facebook are said to be coming out with an official “Translate” button.

Many pages on the internet now have translate buttons available, but the social media giant had yet to follow suit. The translation tool in being prepared for the comments section. (So no more, “What are they saying?” head scratching when reading comments your multi-lingual friends are posting.)

For about two months however, there has been an add-on that one could use on Facebook to translate comments, but the rumor now is that Facebook may be adding code to have the button appear without having to add a plug-in.

Currently, Facebook is still in the testing phase for this feature, but if all goes well, it could give users a better chance to communicate with their cross-world friends.
