Head coach of the NFL’s New York Jets has revealed what can only be described as a slightly confusing tattoo. Still, as odd as it may seem, it could mean good news for Mark Sanchez.

Coach Rex Ryan was recently spotted while vacationing in the Bahamas, and as he sat by the water shirtless, he bared a large tattoo on his right arm.

The tattoo shows a woman resembling his wife - aw, how sweet - wearing a Jets jersey - appropriate. However, it’s the number on the jersey that has people wondering. Just how much love does Coach Rex have for Mark Sanchez?

The number on the tattoo’s jersey, 6, is Sanchez’s number, but maybe that’s just a coincidence. Or maybe Mrs. Coach has a thing for her husband’s QB.

It may be odd, but maybe the tat is a good sign for Sanchez, as the team didn’t exactly have the best season last year

Sanchez, who turned 26 in November, and his team have failed to reach the playoffs the last two seasons, and rumors were swirling that he was about to be traded.

So let’s be optimistic here and assume No. 6 isn’t going anywhere, just like that tattoo.
