A Colombian couple say they have lived better than their president for more than two decades.
Miguel Restrepo, 62, and his wife, Maria Garcia, have lived in an abandoned sewer under Medellin, Colombia for 22 years, but say they live a calm and carefree life with their dog, Blackie.
Restrepo, a former drug addict, said he and his wife have a stove, bed, chair, television, and fan.
Despite their relative happiness, the couple does live in fear that the government could force them from the home at any time.
The space they occupy is roughly 1.4 meters high, 3 meters wide, and two meters deep.
Medellin is Colombia’s second largest city and has a population of approximately 2.7 million people.
