U.S. Customs and Border Patrol recently arrested a man wanted for the sexual abuse of a child.
On November 29, CBP officer at the Eagle Pass International Bridge in Texas inspected a black Hyundai Veloster, bearing Texas license plates. Records checks revealed that the driver, Alejandro Valdes Falcon, 21, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child. Falcon, a citizen of Mexico, was detained and turned over to the Maverick Country Sheriff’s Office.
“The thorough and comprehensive inspections performed by our frontline CBP officers at the port of entry resulted in this significant apprehension,” said Cynthia O. Rodriguez, CBP Port Director, Eagle Pass. “Homeland security is our primary mission but apprehensions like this help keep our communities safe.”
