Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) have announced a joint partnership around the network’s 2011 multiplatform educational campaign “El Poder de Saber” (The Power of Knowing). Now in its eighth year, the company-wide effort focuses on promoting the educational advancement of young Latinos, with an emphasis on secondary education and preventing high school dropouts among Hispanic youth. The partners will work together to provide advice, tools and solutions to students, parent and teachers, join forces at key consumer events, leverage in-house experts and amplify their efforts through online and co-branded collateral material.
