A man suspected of taking part in the 2010 massacre of 72 migrants from Central and South America in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas was captured, the Navy Secretariat said.

Salvador Alfonso Martinez Escobedo, suspected of being the regional boss for the Los Zetas drug cartel in Nuevo Leon, Coahuila and Tamaulipas states, was arrested on Saturday, the secretariat said.
