Brazil Reduces Chevron’s Oil Spill Fine by $8 Million

U.S. supermajor Chevron will be fined $17 million for an offshore oil spill rather than the nearly $25 million announced in July, the head of Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency, or ANP, said Monday.
