The Republican Puerto Rican Senator, Roberto Arango, has resigned after some very inappropriate nude photos surfaced on an iPhone application for gay and bisexual hook ups surfaced.
It was just over a week ago when a local Puerto Rican TV show, ‘Dando Candela’ broke the story of the married, father of one sending photos of his bent-over ass to the Grindr gay site. But it was when the photos and his excuse went viral that the scandal couldn’t be contained.
The Senator explained that he had lost a lot of weight and therefore was taking pictures of himself to document the weight loss and the ass shot might have been one of them but he wasn’t sure. He didn’t explain how and why the photos were sent to the hook up application with the description “bottom looking for fun.”
Interestingly Arango recently failed to support the island’s effort to legalize gay marriage. In addition he has been on record opposing adoption rights for gays. Media sources say the photos were sent anonymously to them after appearing on the gay hook up site.
