Christian Vision officially stopped its short wave service to Latin America on August 17th, 2012, due to declining listenership. Christian Vision purchased the property and transmissions equipment located in Calera de Tango, Chile, in August of 1996. In February of 1998, it received its license to transmit from Chilean regulator Subtel and on November 1st of the same year, Voz Cristiana was officially launched and began transmitting four radio services to Latin America.
