Mexico’s Paola Espinosa and Alejandra Orozco on Tuesday won the silver medal in women’s 10-meter synchronized diving by racking up 343.32 points.

Chen Ruolin and Wang Hao of China took home the gold medal.

As occurred on Monday in the men’s 10-meter synchronized diving, where the silver was won by Mexicans Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez, the women’s pair did relatively poorly on their initial two obligatory dives and were in next-to-last place at the end of the second round.
