The ever busy Jennifer Lopez is said to be developing a family series for ABC that centers around a lesbian couple and their children, according to Deadline.
The project would be under her production company, Nuyorican Productions, and J Lo would do guest appearances as well as executive produce. The premise of the show is about a lesbian couple, one is a cop and the other a teacher, who take in a difficult teenage girl to their already hectic household made up of a biological son and two adopted kids.
The hour-long drama is for ABC’s Family channel. The series is being written by the creators of Queer As Folks, Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg, the Advocate is reporting. No announcement on who will play the lesbian couple or the title of the show.
The Puerto-Rican actress, singer, fashion designer, American Idol Judge (we know we probably missed out on several other job titles J Lo has) is currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias.
