Nearly 500 guests attended the lavish nuptials, including Usher and numerous NBA stars like Patrick Ewing. The couple took their vows at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church and partied until the wee hours at Jordan’s estate in Jupiter’s Bear Club for the wedding reception.

The Cuban-American beauty had been linked to Julio Iglesisas Jr. before her relationship with Michael Jordan started. Prieto had modeled in local commercials and swimsuit calendars.

Couple Marries on Rio Grande, but Groom Has a Secret

A U.S.-based environmental group attempted to give a couple a special wedding on the Rio Grade earlier this month, but there was on detail the groom failed to mention.

On April 11, Mexican-born Ruben Alfonso Fierro, 27, and his fiancee, American Stephanie Guerro, 26, met on the river separating their two countries of origin.

Abiding by U.S. immigration laws, the couple took advantage of the 1848 treaty which, according to TIME, allows the freedom of navigation on both sides on Rio Grande.

A judge from Laredo, Texas officiated over the wedding as the couple floated on a raft moving from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to the U.S. side of the border.

Spain’s duchess of Alba was hospitalized in Rome after suffering a fractured head of a femur from a fall last week in the Italian capital, members of her establishment told Efe on Monday.

Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, 87, underwent an operation on Friday, from which she is recovering satisfactorily, and could remain at the medical center for about five days, those close to her said.

The fall occurred when, after visiting the Palazzo Collona and the Piazza del Campidoglio, the duchess went to buy some Murano glass, but tripped and fell, eyewitnesses told Efe.

The duchess’s eldest son, Carlos Fitz-James Stuart, duke of Huescar, arrived in Rome Monday to be with his mother.

Interior designer and Oprah pal Nate Berkus chose the 15th century Inca citadel of Machu Picchu to propose to his boy friend of nearly 9 months, Jeremiah Brent.

The Chicago native and former host of ‘The Nate Berkus Show’ tweeted the engagement announcement along with an Instagram photo of the couple using the site as a backdrop. Machu Picchu is located some 7,900 feet above sea level and is on the UN’s list of World Heritage sites.

Berkus, 41, was discovered on the Oprah Show and has parlayed his design talents into an empire that includes a furnishings line, books and a multi-faceted design firm. Jeremiah has worked with numerous celebrity clients, designing everything from home interiors to multi-million dollar nightclubs.

During a concert in Mexico City recently, an intoxicated Camila Sodi revealed to the audience that her marriage to Diego Luna may be ending.

So what could Thalia possibly have to do with the rumored divorce?

It turns out Thalia (born Ariadna Thalía Sodi Miranda), who is in the midst of divorce rumors herself, is actually Sodi’s aunt - her mother’s sister.

Thalia, 41, is said to be helping Sodi with the split. However, neither Luna, 32, nor Sodi have confirmed they’re actually divorcing.

While Luna’s marriage may be ending, his best friend, Gael Garcia Bernal may be planning a secret wedding to his girlfriend Dolores Fonzi in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Garcia Bernal and Fonzi has two children together, Lazaro and Libertad.

Tim Lopez, Ernesto Arguello “Ready for Love” on NBC

Three of America’s “most eligible” men are looking for love and they’ve turned to professional matchmakers—and Eva Longoria.

The former “Desperate Housewives” star is stepping behind the camera as executive producer on NBC’s “Ready for Love” which will chronicle three men’s search for that special someone.

Ben Patton, a financier from Dallas, Texas; Tim Lopez, a musician from Santa Barbara, California and Ernesto Arguello, a philanthropist from Miami, Florida will vie for the chance to find true love. In order to find their ideal partners, Longoria has enlisted the help of the three best matchmakers in the world.

Lopez, 31, is a member of Grammy-nominated band Plain White T’s calls himself a hopeless romantic and says it “drives his creativity and makes him so good at what he does.” Lopez grew up in Santa Barbara. Following the end of an 11-year romance—three of which were spent married, Lopez says he is ready for love again and hopes to start a family.

Arguello, 33, who is of Cuban and Nicaraguan decent, was born in Texas while his family was in the U.S. as his father studied for his PhD. Arguello now lives in Miami where his successful career as a civil and architectural engineer and has parlayed his talents into a philanthropic organization. The family man hopes to develop a relationship similar to his parents’ who have been married for 38 years.

“Ready for Love” will be hosted by Bill and Giuliana Rancic. The three matchmakers for the guys will be Amber Kelleher-Andrews, Matt Hussey, and Tracy McMillan.

The show premieres Tuesday, April 9.

Matt Damon, Argentine Wife to Renew Vows at Dream Wedding

Matt Damon and his wife of 7 years, Luciana Barroso, have said they will be renewing their vows to give each other the dream wedding they were unable to have due to Damon’s filming schedule at the time.

The couple, who share four daughters, three together and one from Barroso’s previous marriage, have known each other since 2003. At the time, the Argentine was working as a bartender in Miami. Damon was filming Stuck On You with Greg Kinnear.

Damon and Barroso married in New York in December 2005 and had only a small ceremony, with the only non-family member present being current New York City Mayor Bloomberg.

Not wanting to put off the wedding, the two were married at city hall in Manhattan. Damon was working on The Good Shepherd with Robert De Niro at the time had to go right back to work after the wedding, unable to enjoy a honey. He did, however, bring his new wife to London with him during filming.

Now, Damon and Barroso will renew their vows in April with the destination wedding they never had. And while the location has not been revealed, guests have reportedly been told “no children.”
