Two students that were driving a pickup truck were executed by gunmen who after the fact doused their bodies with gasoline and threw a molotov cocktail at their vehicle.
Both victims were 18 year old students, one of them went to the local Bachellor’s College, and the other one was a PE student at the Universidad Autónoma of Chihuahua.
It seems that the victims were being accosted by a man nicknamed ‘Panchillo,’ a member of the kidnapping group headed by Ernesto Piñón AKA ‘El Neto,’ who was arrested in 2009 after planning the kidnapping of a Judge.
The mother of one victims told reporters her son was not involved in any criminal activity and that she had no idea why he would have been targeted.
Her husband said it would be pointless to demand justice for his son, “my son’s murder is not the first, it has happened to many young people and there is never justice,”
Police found 33 shell casings at the crime scene, along with a plastic bottle containing gasoline.
