Singer El Travieso Quintero Executed in Sinaloa

The young singer known as El Travieso Quintero was executed on Friday afternoon near his home in Colonia Tierra Blanca. The victim’s name is Jose de Jesus Quintero Salas, who had 25 years of age.
The bloody event happened around 8:00 pm, when the singer was walking down the street and was approached by a vehicle with two people in it who began to shoot.

The singer saw the gunmen and ran to the home of a relative in the house marked No. 2236 of Matthias Lazcano, near the corner of Economists, trying to save his life.  The gunman went into the yard and cornered the young singer, shooting almost point-blank at his head.

Confirming the young singer was dying, the criminals escaped immediately to the street where they got into their vehicle and fled to an unknown destination.

At the crime scene were found several 38 caliber super caps, which were seized as evidence by forensic staff, while the corpse was taken to the medical examiner.
