Narco Blog: Two Passenger Buses Completely Burned in Acapulco

Two public buses were set ablaze by gunmen in the dwelling unit Luis Donaldo Colosio, on the street Astros, located in the port of Acapulco.

The state Public Safety Department reported that the incident took place last night at approximately 22:00 hours, with no injuries.

The two units were 50 meters from the monument to Colosio, and were completely burned.

Local residents were alarmed by the burning of the two trucks that were within 20 meters of each other and immediately gave notice to emergency services.
The Army, Federal and state police arrived and cordoned off the site.
