Narco Blog: Man Found Hanging From Bridge in Monterrey

Yesterday at approximately 10:00 pm the state police were doing a routine patrol in the town of Guadalupe, Nuevo León. They encountered a man hanging from the bridge on Avenue Eugenio Garza Sada Monterrey . When the officers found the body hanging they immediately called for backup to begin an investigation. The victim was a man wearing brown shirt, denim shorts, and white tennis shoes. The victim was hanging from the neck and had a bullet in the head.

Witnesses said that they saw an armed group and several luxury trucks on the bridge. They report that the victim was first hung and then shot several times. Elements of the Mexican Army have secured the area, while staff of the Medical Service Forensic Team picked up the remains.
