NARCO BLOG: Authorities Increase Efforts to Capture Zeta Leaders After Discovery of Mass Narco Grave

Sources of the Deputy Department on Organized Crime, report that at the request of the Federal Government, they have deployed intelligence panels to capture Miguel Angel Treviño Morales, alias The Z-40, and Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano, alias El Lazca, who in are now leaders of the criminal organization known as Los Zetas.
In addition to the aforementioned leaders, they are also concentrating new efforts on other members of Los Zetas especially those related to the slaughter at San Fernando, the strategy comes after the recent findings of narco graves in the state of Tamaulipas.
Currently the 17 detainees captured have provided valuable information to help find the leaders and more people involved. The panel hopes to use this information to capture the leaders as soon as possible.
Reports indicate that those arrested for the slaughter said they killed people because their bosses had told them that they were members of the Gulf Cartel, but it is believed many of the victims were innocent.
Today authorities admit they have found 126 bodies in the narco graves of Tamaulipas, although the search continues and is likely to increase the amount chillingly.
Meanwhile, some bodies have been transferred to the Federal District, where experts will work to identify.
