Five taxi drivers were shot by armed men outside a shopping center located on the Avenue Halter and Luis Donaldo Colosio, in the field of Solidarity, northwest of Monterrey.

The taxi drivers were apparently talking around their vehicles when they were surprised by gunmen traveling in a white vehicle.

One body was left in a taxi, in an attempt to flee.

The incident occurred outside a business that makes credit loans.

Relatives of the deceased arrived to the area of the multiple murders where they fell in a fit of hysteria.

Most of the bodies had multiple gunshots to the area of the chest, head and back.
