NARCO BLOG: Birthday party ends with slaughter in Ciudad Juárez

During an evening party, while the young people were celebrating, at a house in Sierra del Aguila, hooded men dressed in black entered the scene and started shooting at the people, some tried to flee, but four of them were massacred.

Witnesses said that when the partygoers heard the shots, they tried to scatter, some even ran under the bed.

Witnesses also report that with in minutes of the slaughter a police patrol passed through the area but did not stop.

No criminals have been charged in the shooting yet. The young adults celebrating the birthday ranged between 20 and 27 years of age.

The events where groups of people are massacred have become more and more common in Chihuahua.
