Narco Blog: 18 Month old Baby Killed by Gunfire Outside Walmart

A 18-month-old who was injured at the outbreak of an artifact in a shopping center in Nuevo Laredo died this morning. The child, identified as Gabriel De Luna Bridan Meza , was among 10 people injured at the shootout on Sunday at the mall Paseo Reforma, in the Avenida Reforma, near the entrance to the Walmart store .

This incident occurred about 21:30 pm when gunmen clashed with each other outside the Walmart.

The baby struggled since being shot on Sunday, but the baby died today at the House of Health San Jose, unable to recover from head injury that caused loss of brain tissue.

Despite an internet call for blood donors, the community responded and donated, but the baby did not survive.

The Director of Social Communication of the municipality, Agustín García Arredondo, said today in an interview that the family of small Bridan Gabriel Meza Luna was being assisted with medical and funeral expenses.
