BLOG NARCO: Gunmen Storm Wake in Sinaloa, 5 Executed

Last night while a group of people were paying their respects at a wake in the Heart of the city of Guamuchil, Sinaloa, a group of armed men stormed the funeral home and began firing.

Witnesses say the gunmen were dressed in black and traveled at least 10 trucks. They entered the Emmaus funeral parlor located on Avenida Javier Mina.

Arnold Solomon Vizcarra, was being waked who on Saturday had been executed in the city of Tepic, Nayarit.

The armed group executed five people, three of the gunned down were identified as Jose Valenzuela Lopez, 38 years old; Trinidad Solomon Garcia, Arnoldo García Solomon, 65 years old.

At least 10 others were injured and were treated at a local hospital; their identities and health status are unknown.

After the slaughter, authorities arrived at the funeral home to conduct the first interviews; they found dozens of spent shell casings.

The Medical Examiner conducted a survey of the five bodies and were taken to the morgue, so far no arrests have been made.
