Blog del Narco: San Diego Hearing for Alleged Daughter of “El Chapo” Postponed

The hearing of Alejandrina Guzman, alleged daughter of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera, was rescheduled for Dec. 20 in federal court of San Diego, where she will be in front of the Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo.

Alejandrina Guzman’s lawyer Guadalupe Valencia, said the court appearance was postponed by agreement between the accusatory parties and lawyers, to continue gathering information.

Alejandrina was arrested on October 12th this year by immigration authorities when she tried to enter the United States with false documents, as reported by the accused in her statement, that her son was born in Los Angeles, California.

Although U.S. officials have not officially confirmed that Alejandrina Giselle Guzmán Salazar is the daughter of the world’s most wanted drug lord, Joaquin Guzman Loera, unofficial sources confirm this information.
