Blog del Narco: Rival Cartels in Shootout- 4 Killed, 6 Injured

Rival Cartels met up at a Taco restaurant on Saturday night in an ambush.  Four people were killed and six others were injured at about seven o’clock on Saturday in the restaurant.

Several armed men came to the restaurant and without saying a word opened fire with heavy weapons, killing Leopoldo González Avilés (a) Polo, 33 years old, identified as the leader in Cerro de Ortega called the New Generation Jalisco Cartel. He was traveling in a Mitsubishi van, Endevor line, color pearl, which has reported as stolen in that state of Jalisco from the last January.

Also shot dead in the scene was the lady who was working as a server-  Elsa Vargas Delgadillo 50 years of age, Pablo Gonzalez Heredia , The Mayor, 52, and a male person between 35 and 40 years of age who has not so far been identified. After the attack, the killers fled.

Injured Candelario ISAGA Rendon, 50 years old, Daniel Novela Juarez, 50, Cesar Alejandro Rosas Radillo, 34; Gaudelia Alcantar Cardenas, 85 years old, and two younger unidentified persons.
